Fabric solutions plancton nets

For the correct choice of fabric, various factors have to be considered: The yarn type determines the area of use. In saltwater usually PET-Polyester fabrics are used, while in freshwater PA-Polyamide fabrics are more common. The mesh opening determines the size of the captured plankton, the percentage of open area influences the efficiency and the thread diameter establishes the fabric strength.
