Longitudinal seams make extra large or wide filter belts possible and might be able to provide the necessary extra stiffness at critical areas:
Welded seams
Welding on suitable fabrics
(e.g. DLW) provides an excellent, impermeable and wear-resistant seam.
Stitched seams
Various types of stitched longitudinal seams adapted to the chosen fabrics and the customer needs are available.
Longitudinal seams can be coated in order to protect the sewing thread.
